The Benefits of Opting for a Professional Landscape Design
When it comes to landscape design there are many factors that should be considered. While we may think landscaping is simple, there are a lot of details that need to be accounted for in the consultation process. For example, landscaping businesses need to gather the customer’s information and real property report documents before beginning any consultations.
The RPR report helps your consultant and designer understand your property; it will ensure that they know the proper square footage of your property and help them account for any cables, electrical lines, or natural gas lines that might run through the area you are having landscaped.
Initial Consultation for Landscaping
Typically, following the initial consultation, it will take several business days for our designers to complete the final draft of your design and here’s why:
After meeting with a potential client and learning about their needs and wants, our consultants will draft a rough sketch of what the design might look like, by hand. This draft is usually completed with the homeowner to guarantee that all discussion points have been met.
During this meeting, we will also discuss the budget and potential timelines. Next, the consultant will relay this information to one of our designers who will then draft and complete your design using our landscaping software. This step will allow us to properly price out the project, accounting for materials, plants, labour etc. We will then have you review this design, sometimes it’s perfect on the first try, other times it may go back and forth a few times until it is perfect. We will not settle until our customers are completely satisfied.
Backyard Landscaping
Updating your landscaping should not just be reserved for your backyard, in fact choosing a landscape package that includes the front and sides of your home will increase the value of your home, all while saving you money and time on completing the projects separately.
Front Yard Landscaping
Front yard landscape design can vary from simple and traditional, to unique and lavish, and everything in between. Front yard landscaping can enhance your lounge space and/or privacy, increase your curb appeal and create a welcoming environment for guests visiting your home.
Landscaping on the sides
Landscaping on the sides of your home can increase accessibility and create optimum space for storage, a dog run or even an additional lounge area. Lastly, if you are planning to sell your home, professionally designed and completed landscaping can immensely help the rate at which you sell your home and even increase the asking price.
